The Times They Are A Changing

Prices are stabilizing.  Multiple offers are occurring.  Mortgage rates are still low.

There are people who are still looking for home prices to hit the bottom.  How do you know where the bottom is?  By the time you learn where the bottom is, prices have started climbing and you may have missed it.

Real estate is cyclical.  Leon County home values fell for the last 5 years.  Will they fall again in 2012?  Indications are prices are stabilizing in many areas.  With dwindling inventory and multiple offers, we are nearing a more normal market.  A normal market does not signal falling prices.
